About Me

Hi! I hope you feel welcome here!

My name is Anna, and I’ve lived in Austin, TX for over seven years. I am a single, working mother of two toddler boys. I am a neurodivergent, black, first generation American woman, who has spent years working through and understanding her own brain, mental health struggles, and intersectionality. I am a psychiatric Physician Assistant (PA), psychotherapist (LPC-A, under the supervision of Dr. Michelle John, LPC-S), and coach. I eat, sleep, and drink psychology! For fun I love to read psychology and social justice books, take naps, drink London fogs, explore my city with my boys, get cozy at coffee shops, and have good conversations with friends.

I find it fascinating and necessary to understand ourselves for the improvement of our individual and communal lives. My goal is to empower adults into positive healing and to take on their part of the legacy of individual and collective healing. When we heal our minds, we heal our bodies, and we heal our interpersonal wounds. I believe it is OK for us to nurture ourselves so that we can show up brighter and more beautiful. We all have the capacity for healing and joy, and my job is to help you unlock the you that’s already there, waiting to take up their rightful space.
